Kids will experience what it’s like to jump on the wheel and throw with clay. They will learn the basic mechanics of throwing clay on the wheel.
Techniques and methods will be shared and discussed and put into practice. The special thing about this class is that kids will get to paint their pot as the wheel spins with our range of underglazes!
The vessels created will then have a translucent glaze added to them to make it food safe and dishwasher safe. The turnaround time for finished pots is about 4-6 weeks.
This class is a calming and enjoyable experience for kids. Parents are welcome to join in as well!
Please note that children aged 10 and over are welcome to attend the class on their own. For children under 10, a parent or guardian must attend and provide supervision as well.
