Meet your potter at Clay Temple.co
Welcome to Clay Temple.co!
I’m Dyllan, and it’s a joy to invite you into our pottery studio on Tamborine Mountain
I established Clay Temple.co in 2023, turning a long-held dream into reality. Though my journey with pottery began years before, this studio is a true labor of love — a place where artistry and community blend seamlessly.
Since I was 14, I’ve been teaching and sharing my passion with people from all walks of life. Every person who steps into my studio brings their own unique spirit, and it’s been my privilege to guide them on their creative journeys.
Pottery, especially wheel throwing, has been a profound source of peace and personal growth for me. I believe that, among all crafts, wheel throwing uniquely offers the ability to lower stress and reduce cortisol levels. The focused, tactile process of working with clay helps calm the mind and soothe the soul.
For me, pottery has been a powerful tool in overcoming past struggles with depression and anxiety through creativity. The act of being fully immersed in the moment has given me clarity and relief, and it’s this transformative experience that I’m eager to share with you.
With my background in Music and Art from the University of Canberra, I bring a blend of artistic insight and technical expertise to my classes.
Thank you for considering a visit to Clay Temple Co. I warmly invite you to join us, experience the personalised classes, and discover how the art of wheel throwing can bring joy, satisfaction, and a renewed sense of connection into your life.
Looking forward to creating with you.
